Immerse yourself in the 18th century through the gates of this magnificent park. Live to the rhythm of Acadian families from 1770 to 1949 by walking the path of more than 2 kilometers bordered by nearly 40 historic buildings all animated by passionate interpreters who will tell you these stories of yesteryear.
The site is perfect for an open-air historical experience for young and old alike. You will discover cooking workshops, a photo studio, cultural events, good Acadian cuisine and Léa the village mascot!

Our experience at the Village Historique Acadien
Here we are, plunged into the time of a 3-day and two-night getaway in the 18th century ...
You can stay at Chateau Albert or in the one and only room above the station (two double beds) which is located just opposite.
What we liked
- Interpreters are passionate about history and share their daily life with us. With the perfectly reproduced decors it feels like it.
- If you are lucky enough to stay one night at the hotel , after a good night's sleep in peace, you can enjoy a wonderful breakfast consisting of fresh croissants, muffins, créton (pork meat pie), savory biscuits (cheese, bacon), yogurt with fresh red fruits etc ... Between the view, the calm and this morning feast, the setting was simply perfect!
Thank you for this great experience discovering the Acadian history ...
"Tell us more about your stories at the Village. We all can't wait to time travel once again!"
