Provincial Park

Edmundston, NB (Canada)

We stayed at Republic Provincial Park for 4 days and 3 nights. First Canadian "glamping" experience. We decided to choose to stay in a chalet tent . Tya was very excited about the idea of going to discover the squirrels, sleeping in a tent and taking advantage of the infrastructures offered by the site (swimming pool, playground ...).

Just next to the park, we had the chance to discover the New Brunswick Botanical Garden which is a marvel to discover.

We also had the opportunity to visit the museum "Du réel au miniature" which is dedicated to railways located 5 minutes away from the park. Guy, the Director, shared with all his guests his passion for trains. That was a amazing experience to meet him and to learn more about what matters to him. Tya just loved it!

Finally we discovered local businesses and met wonderful people in Edmunston who are just waiting for you to come to visit. For now, follow us on our journey and discover places you won't want to miss! ( BrasseursPetit Sault / The restaurant "Le pirate de la mer" / The restaurant "Ouellet" ).

The New Brunswick Botanical Garden

The New Brunswick Botanical Garden is a wonder for young and old. With its thematic gardens that spread over several hectares next to the Madawaska River, there is impressive mosaic culture, but also a herbalism where a multitude of activities take place. You will be able to meet artists-in-residence and to taste new flavors at the very popular Café Flora.

The pictures are obvious! I wish you a nice discovery ...

Du réel au miniature ...

Guy is passionate about railroads. They took us into their world to discover a captivating experience about trains and rail networks . What touched us is the very human side of this museum. Guy and his small team live almost exclusively on donations to share their passion. We discovered meticulous work, upcoming projects , a site with a whole history and a real human experience.

Thank you Géraldine, Guy and your team for sharing this moment with us and see you very soon!

If you love fresh seafood and want to eat local , I recommend this restaurant!

The "Lobster Roll" is an institution in this restaurant and it is just excellent! On the menu there is a wide range of products that are also suitable for children.

Vicky is proud to come and serve her customers every day. Comely and smiling, her good humor is communicative and the service becomes quite simply exceptional. Thanks Vicky!
